About

Michael Williams is a classically-oriented composer from California. He has been playing guitar for five years and keyboard for about two and a half. He is primarily self taught in both instruments.
Currently, Michael is studying the technical aspects of music-making at Pinnacle College’s Northern California campus. He has begun releasing tracks on a much more regular basis,  roughly every two or three weeks.
Michael is primarily self-taught in both instruments and has only taken one formal music class (Basic Music Theory at Pinnacle College). When he began composing orchestral music, he studied the likes of John Williams, Nobuo Uematsu, and Yoko Shimomura, as well as other modern and classical composers picking apart their techniques. He also writes heavy metal on the guitar, taking influence from Megadeth, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Metallica, and many more.
